• Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream: This stream caters to temporary foreign workers and international student graduates currently employed in Manitoba and holding a permanent, full-time job offer from a Manitoba employer.
• Skilled Worker Overseas Stream: This stream targets skilled workers, either within or outside Canada, who possess strong connections to the province.
• Manitoba Business Investor Stream: This stream facilitates the establishment of businesses in Manitoba by qualified investors.
• International Education Stream: This stream welcomes international graduates from Manitoba post-secondary institutions who desire permanent residency in the province.
• Morden Community Driven Initiative: This initiative specifically targets welders, carpenters, cooks, plumbers, and pipefitters seeking residency in the rural town of Morden.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream:

This stream comprises two pathways:

• Manitoba Work Experience Pathway: This pathway is geared towards temporary workers and international graduates holding valid work permits and currently employed in Manitoba.
• Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway: This pathway involves interviews with an MPNP representative and a Manitoba employer outside of Canada before receiving an Invitation to Apply.

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Temporary foreign worker status or international student graduate status
  • Valid work permit or post-graduation work permit
  • Permanent, full-time job offer from a Manitoba employer (Manitoba Work Experience Pathway)
  • Minimum six months of work experience with the current Manitoba employer (Manitoba Work Experience Pathway)
  • Meeting job qualifications, including training and licensing requirements
  • Demonstrated English or French proficiency for job duties
  • Stronger connection to Manitoba compared to other Canadian provinces
  • Settlement Plan outlining intention and ability to live, work, and establish family life in Manitoba
  • Sufficient financial resources (CAD $10,000 for the main applicant and CAD $2,000 per dependent)
  • Employer’s registered commercial business operating for at least three years (Manitoba Work Experience Pathway)
  • Work conditions comparable to those of Canadians or permanent residents

  • Submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) with score calculation based on provided information
  • Potential invitation to submit an MPNP application

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream offers two pathways for skilled workers to establish themselves in Manitoba, regardless of their current location:

• Manitoba Express Entry Pathway: This pathway is designed for individuals with active Express Entry profiles who are also eligible under another MPNP stream. Additionally, they must possess experience in an occupation listed on Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations list and demonstrate a strong connection to the province. General Requirements:

• Minimum Points Assessment: Applicants must achieve at least 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP points assessment grid.
• Connection to Manitoba: Candidates must demonstrate a connection to Manitoba through one of the following:
  • Support from friends or family residing in the province
  • Previous work experience or education within Manitoba
  • Invitation to Apply received directly from the MPNP
  • Additional requirements may apply based on the established connection type.
• In-Demand Occupation Experience: Applicants must possess at least six months of experience in an In-Demand occupation listed by Manitoba.
• Career Plan: A complete Career Plan outlining future professional aspirations in Manitoba is mandatory.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
